I graduated in 2005 in International Economics, and right after my graduation, I started working for a multinational company. That’s the year that I started blogging as a hobby. I kept working for another year and over that period of time, my blog started to grow. After a couple of months, I went to see the server logs and I had like hundreds of visitors and after 6 months, thousands of visitors.

At the end of 2006, I decided to quit my job – that was in Italy – and then I just returned to Brazil and started blogging full time. I started www.DailyBlogTips.com in November 2006, a little over a year now, and we currently have about 7,500 RSS subscribers.

You know that link building is very important part of SEM. In this article i will write 6 link bulding tips. let’s start:

1. Directory Submission - is very easey and free way for link building, but you must choose quality directories with high PR and high traffic. It is better if you submit your site in directories with your niche. There is list of PR4 Directories.
2. Social Bookmarking - is good for traffic too, but it mostly depend on your content, if your content is quality, unique and interesting you will get good backlinks and traffic. I have get from social bookmarking 6000uv in one day and some web master get more. Those are the most popular social bookmarking sites: digg.com, StumbleUpon.com, Del.icio.us and there is a lot of other simillar sites.
3. Link Exchange - is very interesting way for link building. You must find link partner with your niche and high PR, open google and write your keyword, then open all sites and contact them for link exchange or you can use some services for this and you can use popular web master forums http://forums.digitalpoint.com , http://www.sitepoint.com/forums/ and etc.
4. Article Submission - When you write some intresting article on your blog, then you can write another unique article about this theme but shortly with anchor text about your main article and submit it in article directories, you will get really quality backlinks.
5. Post on Forums - Write some intresting post about something, then find popular forum about this and post about your article there.
6. Post Comments - Find popular blog with your niche and post comments on high ranked pages of this blog. Don’t spam, try to leave relevant comments.

These tips are very useful for new sites and if you do this works you will get good rank and good position on SERP.

I think that one of the most important way to get high rank and positions in search engines is Link Building and i will explain you why is link building important and how we can build links for our sites.

Search Engines have bots and spiders which find your web site’s pages and index them in their SE. They use links to find new page. If your page’s link is on a good ranked sites your page will be index by SE quickly and it will rank good.

You also can to buy your own Domain name and Web space, then upload there free wordpress blog engine and make your  own design, of-course it is best way, but if you are begginer it is better to start with free subdomains.

• Don’t use images as text, Search Engines can’t read text on images.
• Name files keywords, for example: name about-seo.html  and don’t name page1.html .
• Try to linked every page of your site on every page of your site, but with site name(sitename.com/seo.html no  only seo.html).
